Video: Chip Foose talks about, renders his first VW Golf

In order to promote the launch of the Golf R in the US, Volkswagen has created a series of videos featuring fans of the iconic Euro hatch for a new iPad app. Here Chip Foose, founder of Foose Design and presenter of hit TV show, Overhaulin', tells the story of his first VW Golf, a 1985 GTI. But the highlight of the video is watching Foose produce a marker rendering of the MkII GTI in his own distinct style, usually associated with the hotrod scene.

A HORSHAM family is gearing up for a memorable summer in the sunshine after beating thousands of motorists across the UK to win a Volkswagen car worth a cool £10,000. James Bancroft and his family won the Bridgestone-led competition after driving in to his local Elite Garage on Brighton Road in Horsham for a new set of tyres. Ford has announced that total sales of the Ford Fiesta in the 37 years since it was revealed have now hit 4,115,000, with the Fiesta being the top-selling car in the supermini segment for 27 of those years and, as car buyers started downsizing (and the Fiesta got bigger), it has become the best selling car in the UK bar none since 2009.
